BasangSang Chambers was established in 1980 by one of the most Senior and Longest saving member of the jurisdiction in Gambia, Lawyer AN M.Ousainu Darboe, Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Gambia and Nigeria.

In the early 2000, he was joined by Neneh MC Cham, Solicitor and Barrister at the Supreme Court of Gambia and current President of the Female Lawyers Association Gambia(FLAG).

Our team has lately been completed by lawyer Lamin Darboe, graduated of Oxford university (London)

 

Basangsang Chambers do renders legal services to individuals, public and private institutions including agencies, corporations, organizations, associations,, In order to help and safeguard the achievement of justice. We do this trough engaging in litigation, also considering the interest of our clients. We also advice and encourage them for outside court settlement, for example arbitration which is more time saving, convenient, less expansive, more private in nature and more favorable to the parties involved in the dispute.

 

However, having an interest in the well being of the society, we offer pro bono services when necessary, especially when it comes to Human Rights issues, particularly in cases that involves women and children's right.
